Dr. Kory Bumgardner – Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Bumgardner, DDS is a native of Hastings, NE. He graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 1992. After high school, he attended undergraduate studies at Hastings College where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts. He then graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in May 2001 and has been practicing dentistry in Hastings since June 2001.
Dr. Bumgardner likes to stay on top of the latest advances in dentistry. He spends many hours on continuing education so that he can provide the highest quality of dentistry possible. He’s a member of the American Dental Association, Adams County Dental Association, Southwest District Dental Association, and Nebraska Dental Association.
Kory and his wife, Kerry, have four children: Emmalynn, Easton, Paxton & Colton. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
Megan – Office Manager
Megan graduated from Central Community college with a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working with Dr. Bumgardner since 2011. Megan can help you schedule an appointment, answer questions about your bill, discuss payment options and help you figure out what your insurance will cover. She has been married to her husband, Matt, for eleven years and together they have four children: Krae, Ellie, Brexton & Brodrick. Megan resides in Blue Hill and enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events and traveling.
Katie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Katie joined our team after graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at CCC-Hastings in 2015. Katie is committed to educating and empowering her patients to take ownership of their oral health and uses the latest technology and techniques available. Katie resides in Hastings with her dog, Samson. Aside from dentistry, Katie has interests in reading, shopping, golfing, traveling and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Karissa – Dental Assistant
Karissa was born and raised in Hastings and joined the team in August 2019. She graduated from CCC-Hastings in 2008 with an AAS degree in Dental Assisting. Her passion is helping others. She currently
lives outside of Hastings with her husband, Joe, and daughter, Kinley. Outside of assisting she enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with her family.
Megan- Dental Assistant
Megan is our newest dental assistant! Originally from Ravenna, she graduated from the CCC-Hastings Dental Assisting program in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and traveling.
